Shafia family sentenced to life for four counts of first-degree murder
I'm sure they'll try to file an appeal...here's to hoping real justice is exacted before that opportunity arises.
All three of them need a swift boot to the head with a pair of steel toes...too damned bad that CSC took the damned things away from the inmates.
News...Straight from hell. These are the days my friend...i'm pretty sure they'll never end.
Should the state have access to all of your lifes' details, personal encounters, emails, cell phone records and bed sheets?

There's a story in The Sentinel (not open to comments)that calls the jury Heroes for returning a guilty verdict. What a crock of shit.
ReplyDeleteTwelve people did their jobs and applied the law as written. That's not heroic. That should just be business as usual.
When a jury just doing its job is characterized as heroic you know there is something drastically wrong with our Justice System, or journalism, or both.
Everybody is a hero anymore. A firefighter is a hero when they put out a fire. Hell they sleep most of the time on a night shift.
