Oxford MP Says Service Cut Report Speculative
There's your MP, defending the indefensible.
With looming cuts to pensions and numerous services to Canadas' most vulnerable persons, you don't hear Dave talking about how he'd be glad to give up the 700 and some odd thousand dollar payoff he'll get should he resign from office today after less than 10 years at "work".
Instead he blithey says,
"the Conservatives priority is to continue focusing on the jobs and the economy and to get Canadians focused on it".
Now what the heck kind of statement is that?
'Now what the heck kind of statement is that?"
ReplyDeleteIt's called a talking point. Harper keeps them short to avoid the need to supply teleprompters to his spokespersons. :)
Typically, it's just a collection of noises that makes no sense. They know most voters are numb from the neck up and won't bother to think about it.
He says they're going to get Canadians focused on jobs and the economy? All the polls show Canadians consider jobs and the economy at the top of their list of priorities. Canadians are ALREADY focused on jobs and the economy! Harper and his representative in Oxford (his, not ours) know that!
What Canadians want is for Harper to focus on the economy and stop crippling it by sucking it dry with policies that bloat the civil service and borrowing us into the poor house.
A strong economy is built on a sense of economic stability and the ability to look ahead and plan for the future. Harper has created an environment where private sector employers are afraid to hire because they don't know what which direction Harper will take tomorrow that might screw them (and us)over again.
We will see a stronger economy when Harper stops fucking it up.
Dave and his fucking talking points. I wonder how the hell he ever ran Woodstock police services without someone tellin him what to say?

ReplyDeleteHe didn't. The Chief is just a mouthpiece for the Mayor. True then. True now.
Shit...you got me on that one:)
