Maher: Tories have put Canadians in a hole
Literally, the guys who claim they were elected for their accountability, integrity and fiscal abilities have taken Canada down a road of risk, laden with debt and quirky socialist decisions.

At the end of the day though, the very same fools who voted these folks into office have just had a stake driven through their own miserable collective hearts. Perhaps they, the voters, will learn a lesson...and next time study the idiots' platforms before you vote for them...you folks should have known better...Harper did say repeatedly throughout his life that Canada is/was a loser welfare state and he would kill it if he could. That "loser welfare state" includes your silly assed pensions and all the "loser welfare state" money you folks get every month from CPP/OAS.
You know for a while, I seriously thought this PM was only about attacking the opposition parties and the people who supported those parties. I thought for a while he was all about killing off the errant potheads and mushroom farmers from the hills of Nelson, BC. Today I realize that Harpers' "CONservatives" (or is it reformatories?) are all about the CON and less about the serving and that this party would stab its' mother between the shoulder blades before pulling her gold teeth out,(if it actually had one) to pawn them off for a GM bailout or a few bucks for a Clement designed Gazebo replete with gargoyles and grotesques.
Thank goodness, perhaps a few million of those low brow folk will just quit voting, and perhaps they too will feel as isolated as millions of other Canadians are today. Perhaps this is the biggest opportunity ever, an opportunity to re-Campbell the government back to rump party status, back to the lie from which it came.
I really wish I could say I disagree with you.

:)
ReplyDeleteWhat is the point, you work your ass off, try to save, be friendly to the environment and bang this freak Harper, kicks Canada collectively in the nuts.
ReplyDeleteI voted against this asshole.
I blame the people who voted for this prick and all the other people who did not vote.
It is time we as Canadian wake up and vote, that is the only way to control these pricks.
Or expect more of this ship.
Or maybe just stay drunk and say FTW.
"....and all the other people who did not vote."
ReplyDeleteA good portion of those people would have voted, if they'd had anyone to vote for.
As much as Harper is a complete screw up he is no worse than the others that ran against him for the job. Take a look at the policy platforms of the other parties in the last election. Did you listen to what they had to say in interviews and TV ads? Read what they had to say in the newspapers?
If everyone that voted had just flipped a coin the result would have been no better or worse than what we have right now.
They're all the same. They are all statist. They all believe government should not be accountable to the people for its actions. They are all big-government micro managers. They all think winning an election suddenly makes them so omnipotent and omniscient that they can tell everyone else how to run their lives (when, in many cases, they obviously can't even run their own).
The people who refused to vote were the only ones that made an intelligent and informed decision in the last election. Here's hoping we'll have more of them for the next one.
Oh my god so don't vote. Is that the answer.
ReplyDeleteDid you vote??
So don't vote and bitch about everything.
Yes politicians drive me nuts.
So if you didn't vote, then the ones who didn't should keep their mouths shut and don't have a right to bitch.
I prefer minority governments.
Don't vote.
ReplyDeleteDon't complain.
Fucken idiot.
You two voted. You supported the people and parties that have created and perpetuated a corrupt and unaccountable system of government in this country. As long as you continue to validate what they do by voting for them they will continue to screw you, and me.
ReplyDeleteDo you really think the people you voted for have any concern or respect for you? You bought into their bullshit and now they are happy and comfy in their special chairs in Parliament with their gold plated pensions that you are paying for.
They think you are a sucker. They're right.
You're the ones that shouldn't be complaining. You voted for what we've got. You're responsible for the mess.
You want responsible, accountable government? Stop voting for people that are neither responsible or accountable. If there's nobody on the ballot that isn't in it just for the money or power then - don't vote.
If someone put 5 piles of shit in front of you would you eat the one that stank the least and then tell the people that refused to eat shit that they had no right to complain? That's what you're doing when you vote and then bitch because the majority of eligible voters were smarter than you and refused to be played for suckers.
Wise up. They think you're stupid. They're right.
And a ps to Anonymous@10:43 am
ReplyDeleteEat shit. Oh wait. You already did. :)
Tag I am out, you are right.
ReplyDeleteYou changed my mind, where can I become an anarchist
Hey anon 106.
ReplyDeleteYour anology just doesn't make sense.
But hey your a fucken idiot anyways and can't argue reason with a fuck hole like you.
I know blah blah blah I am an idiot according to your idiotic type. Lol, so yes you type have all the answers.
Oh again fuck you idiot ;)
I will stop now Jim.
If these two voters are representative of who elects governments in this country it's no wonder we're in trouble.
ReplyDelete"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage."
ReplyDeleteIm going with the last anon poster....:_)
