"Transparency - Pat contends that  " information is the currency of democracy . I have seen too many issues kept under the radar to avoid public scrutiny. A simple return to the original purpose of procedural by-laws would eliminate a growing lack of transparency."
His statement that "he's seen too many issues kept under the radar" is outrageous! He has been an active
and willing participant in "keeping issues under the radar." You can watch him in action at the meeting of
Dec 10 and May 6 working in concert with the others to deceive the public. If he'll work to hide the truth
from you as a Councillor just what do you think he'll do when he's Mayor? If he had any concern for the public he would have spoken out at the meeting of Dec 10. If he had any committment to Transparency he would have stood up and exposed the deliberate deception Council was perpetrating. He had every opportunity to reveal that the intent of the motion was to bury the position of Integrity Commissioner. He could have opened up a debate at that time. If he was too cowardly to speak out he could have simply voted against the motion.
What did he do? 
He just voted with the others to "keep it under the radar." You're a liar and a hypocrite Pat.
Your campaign slogan should be "Four More Years Of The Same Old, Same Old." He has said nothing about the other half what he and the others have made into a running joke. What about Accountability Pat? Tell us how we are to hold you Accountable without any recourse to an Integrity Commissioner or other objective authority.
You're the expert on Accountability Pat. The creation of the Integrity Commissioner's office was your personal initiative. You were going to usher in a whole new era of Transparency and Accountability.
