FORMER OFFICERS FORM CONSERVATIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT CAUCUS
And here's another stupid idea from our reigning CONservatives. A group of retired police who have been elected as MP's in the past election have decided that this country really needs a CONservative law enforcement branch so they struck a committee that is comprised of four retired or on leave officers(including Oxfords' MP...who has his hands full already shuffling paper around)that will act as a liason between the Prime Minister and the justice minister. (who must not be speaking with the justice minister,,,,hence the need for some old fogeys to send messages back and forth)
This comittee hopes to "influence" the government in its' law enforcement decisions as they claim "they are in a better position to understand what crime is about" as they worked the front lines in law, and they are the only party that has elected police officers.
Well....
Our local MP was retired for many years before he ran for office. His policing techniques are reminiscent of a kinder more gentler time in policing...(oh I am laughing so hard I think I will pee now)
Four MP's were picked for the committee...Shelly Glover from Manitoba,Rob Clarke from Saskatchewan and Dave Mackenzie and Rick Norlock from Ontario.
Dave has come a long way from the last election when the Prime Minister called him and his team in Oxford "terds and idiots".
