CONSERVATIVE MP'S STAGE A SIT IN BUT OFFER NO ALTERNATIVE TO THE HST
I'm not a fan of Dalton McGuintys'(I have my reasons...remember the big lie about autism??), but I certainly am not a fan of Tom Tim or whatever Mr Hudaks' first name is.(seriously, it is too early to remember.)
Yesterday, Conservative MPPs' staged a "sit in" in order to attract some media to themselves as they are in opposition and have nothing better to do than make noise and come up with no ideas, but a sit in was fun for them, and for a few people who look on through their TV sets from the warm comfort of their homes.
One member showed up in a kilt to take part in the sit in, while others came wearing their normal clothes. The kilt attracted much media attention, something that Mr Murdoch wouldn't have received if he had showed up dressed like a normal suit type. In fact, the media probably would have passed him over if he had not been scantily clad in his mini kilt. (Sometimes just dressing wierd is enough to get you in the news.)
The over kilted Mr Murdoch even called old Dalton a LIAR(of all things) which is absolute proof(according to Murdoch) that the HST will damage Ontario.
Yes, the Tories staged a sit in, but for what purpose? They have no intent on removing the HST should they be elected, and as far as I can see. they haven't even discussed what the alternative would be.
But they have put on a wonderful show for all of us replete with dancing kilted men and lots of exciting noise.
Smoke and mirrors...it's what its' all about at the Ontario legislature.
The alternative to the HST is ... No HST. Leave it as it is.
ReplyDeleteIf McWeasel wants to raise taxes he should do it out in the open and not try to con the public with this HST scam.
