Some Photos of Burgess And Standard Tube Parks, courtesy of John.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT KNOW, THIS IS THE CONSERVATION AREA THAT IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT CONSIDERATION FROM THE UTRCA, AND ALREADY GIVEN APPROVAL BY OUR SELF-SERVING COUNCIL(okay...minus two of ya)
Who needs trees and parks for the public, when you can make money from golfers for a private consortium?A lovely view of the creek and forest

Look at these pictures and tell me those are not bulldozer tracks into the creek? And hasn't the view somehow become polluted with all of this?

More bulldozer tracks into the creek, but hey, who cares?

Tracks from a bulldozer made into the creek..Isn't there a 50 foot protection law surrounding rivers/estuaries?

Clearly identifiable heavy equipment tracks along the creekside.
Deer tracks....
To be chopped down...
More Pics of the stand of pines they intend on chopping down.
the meadows, soon to be golf course ..should be picture perfect..to a chemist
more of the meadows soon to be destroyed

More trees to be cut up and below being destroyed for what?

A view of the meadows

And the sun sets on Burgess Park...kinda like it's life.

Woodstock taxpayers?

the villages of sallys creek should pay to fix the mess up

Fat chance of that happening. If the golf course expansion dies hang on to your wallet. We'll be paying for the clean up.

Maybe that mayor of yours should pay the cleanup cost.

get loud and proud about this stuff folks, enough is enouhg. doesnt what the public say count for anything any more. or, has harding and sierra once again decided to put the needs of a priveleged few ahead of the needs of oh, say, the hundred thousand and growing people of this county. i believe that we said no to this. that should have been enough. maybe its well past time to call for all of their resignations. minus the two. and send us back to the polls to elect a council that wont shit all over us many to keep his dinner guests happy.

We had upwards of 6000 people call for a stop to the golf course expansion. I'm sure calling for resignations would be just as effective.

We've got 5 people on that council that are operating according to their own agenda and that agenda does not include paying a damned bit of attention to the people of this city.

Calling for resignations is pointless. We have to FIRE them. That's why we need a full public investigation of both Info Energy and the relationship between Sally Creek and members of council and senior members of the city administration.
